Carpal Tunnel Treatment That Works!

Minimally invasive carpal tunnel treatment refers to the surgical technique employing the smallest incision possible. It is performed in 10 min, under local anesthesia, allowing the return to work the same day for most patients with minimal post-operative restrictions. This technique involves a single, 1 to 1.5 cm (0.4 to 0.6 inch) incision and utilizes special surgical instruments to cut the transverse carpal ligament and has the advantages of both open carpal tunnel surgery and endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is the result of a compressed median nerve at the wrist. The most common symptoms of median nerve compression include hand tingling, numbness, and pain. In severe cases, hand muscles by the thumb atrophy, causing hand weakness and difficulty grasping objects.

If you are experiencing any symptoms, you don’t want to wait for them to get worse in order to be evaluated by an orthopedic hand surgeon. The longer you wait, the more you risk permanent nerve damage. I can assess the severity of your median nerve compression and evaluate your carpal tunnel syndrome. Afterward, I can recommend an appropriate treatment plan tailored to your needs.

In my practice, patient care and satisfaction are of utmost importance. I am deeply committed to caring for my patients as I would care for my family. I pride myself on an unparalleled attentiveness to my patients and the art of orthopedic hand surgery. Thank you for visiting my website, and I look forward to meeting you.
